In order to promote contemporary artistic expression and its relationship with the public, the Commission des Arts de Wallonie organises a triennial prize. This prize aims to promote emerging artists born or living in Wallonia and to support them by offering them the opportunity to present their work to the public during a collective exhibition.
The winner receives a €5,000 grant to help him or her with his or her artistic project.
Following the call for applications, eight artists were selected: Benoît Bastin, Priscilla Beccari, Claire Ducène, Arnaud Eubelen, Mégane Likin, Maxence Mathieu, Charles-Henry Sommelette and Cléo Totti.
The group exhibition will take place from 23 September to 10 October at the Abattoirs de Bomel (Namur Cultural Centre).
The award ceremony will take place on the day of the opening, 22 September. Booking is required (by sending an email to stevielardoux@centrecultureldenamur.be).
